The building is contiguous with the temple, which is on an elevated ridge just NE of the chapel. A trail makes the connection up to the temple grounds. The chapel is modern and has an unusual 2-level design with classrooms on the lower level, due probably to the slope of the land. A cultural hall is not connected to the main building. There are two smallish parking areas, each surrounded by trees. The whole area is wooded and quite pretty.
It was stake conference, and the leaders had arranged to have a video transmission from the stakehouse in Cambridge to all the chapels in the stake including the Belmont building and that is where we attended. Bishop McMullen of the Presiding Bishopric was the visiting authority and spoke on our basic responsibilities of members and urged continual study of the Book of Mormon, etc.
