We have great news from Mount Zion–Jeff and Debbie Pierce went to Raleigh Temple yesterday for their endowments and to be sealed as a couple. This is such wonderful progress for them. From the first that we met them, we were impressed by the love and bond that existed in that family. Now they have taken a step that will further enhance and strengthen that bond. Temple sealings are about love. Every good marriage deserves and needs the temple.
We had hoped to be with them at the temple yesterday, but could not get our connections worked out, partly because of late dates changes for the ceremony and finally because I ended up with a doctor’s appointment on Friday.
Good news from that appointment-- My cardiologist, Dr. Carter, seemed to assure us that my bout with pericarditis was past.
We still hope we can work out travel arrangements to be present at the Raleigh temple at the time when Todd and Tabatha Harrell get sealed.
