Landscape Arch, longer than a football field, was scary to think of, losing a portion of its rock in 1991. I was there before that year and hiked all around and through and above, but no one is allowed that close anymore. We stood behind a fence and tried to guess how much long this arch would exist.
We traded taking pictures with a couple of Chinese tourists at Sandstone Arch. This would be a nice place for a family of small kids to play on a hot summer day, with lots of sand and shade. One of favorites.
