Two new temples

While in Salt Lake for doctor's appointments, we did an endowment session at each of the new Salt Lake Valley temples, Draper on the 17th and Oquirrh Mountain today. And we enjoyed being the witness couple at today's session.

They each are so beautiful. We were surprised at their elevations which afforded a terrific view out over the valley. This is especially true for the Oquirrh temple from which we could see downtown, the U on the mountain, all across the SL valley from north to south, Timp, Cascade Peak, Maple Mt., Loafer Peak and Mt. Nebo.

The spaciousness was impressive-- tall, roomy ordinance rooms. And the mountain mural scenes in the ordinance rooms were lovely. And how about the double grand staircase in the Oquirrh temple?
