Recently Wendy started a refuge in our back yard for birds that forgot to fly south. 
There are feeders with seeds and pine cones with peanut butter and lots of seeds in the snow.  We have been surprised at the number and the many kinds of birds that have taken advantage of our offer.  We can see them real well through our kitchen slider, just a few feet away.  And there are birds in the big picture--they are just in camouflage.  There will be a prize for the person who can count the most birds in the picture.
