Conference gathering at Blakes

There was something satisfying about the family General Conference Sunday evening at Emilie and Scott’s. Even though the Soderquists and the Stanfords were mostly missing (Soderquist boys had come down with the fifth disease and Angela was not feeling well), not to mention David and Valerie and families, we had a happy level of support from the 3rd generation. Andrew and Britain came bringing Ryan, and also Troy and Trina brought from South Weber a carload that included Staci, Krysta, and Tricia. Attendance by this group gave me a lot of satisfaction because they seemed so happy to be together and to have internalized the value of our family attempts to underscore the importance of paying immediate attention to the messages of conference.
