Camp Theme

The camp theme was based on the Lewis Family Creed, "Our family--grounded in the Gospel."

On Thursday afternoon, after we had gathered and put up our tents, each family presented a skit on examples of being grounded in the gospel, either from our family history are the scriptures:











--Soderquists presented the story of James Foss Townsend, who with his family and gathered with the Saints in Nauvoo at the command of the Prophet.












--Stanfords did a puppet show about Daniel and his choice to worship the Lord and how the Lord protected him while in the den of lions.











--Chandlers presented an original rap called "The Scoville Roll" which depicted Lucius making the choice to accept a mission call in spite of many difficult challenges in his life at that time. --Matthew and Kim's family acted out the story of Daniel and the lion's den.












--The Blakes presented the story of William Blake's conversion to the Gospel.




















--Nathan and Gloria each played multiple parts to present the story of the 2000 stripling warriers.
